Our Bog Coats are inspired by a coat dating back to the Bronze Age that had been preserved in a Danish bog. They are made using a single piece of fabric and therefore have almost no waste. We repurpose wool blankets, repurposed wool sweaters or Kantha Quilts (handmade by women of rural Bengal to repurpose cotton Sarees. Double repurposing!) Want to know more? This coat is made from a Sears bedspread from the 1970’s! We love it!
